Welcome to Freedom Academy of Music Education (FAME), the Southeast’s premier music lessons academy providing private music instruction and recording programs taught by fully qualified instructors in Cumming, GA. Freedom Academy of Music Education exists to educate, develop, and inspire students of all ages to achieve their full musical and artistic potential while providing them the skills for a lifelong enjoyment of expression through music. Our goal at Freedom Academy of Music Education is to not only sustain but to enhance a supportive, caring, and responsible music and fine arts community.
Our lessons studios are comprised of working musicians and music industry professionals with, comprehensively, more than 100 years of experience in education, performance, songwriting, artist development and band management. Freedom Academy of Music Education's instructors contribute to keeping the music scene relevant and exciting in our communities with their performances not only on the local stages but also across the globe. Freedom Academy of Music Education was formed in 2018 out of a passion for music and the love of helping others meet their vision of success along their journey in music. FAME is a family owned and operated single-location facility, as of such, we take extreme pride and care in our lessons studios and performance spaces. We care for our students and their families as we would our own and strive to keep a clean, professional environment with state of the art facilities and equipment. Everyone at Freedom Academy of Music Education strives to convey a sense of warmth as well as dignity and hope that you feel this professionalism and respect as you make FAME part of your family's musical journey.
Lessons With an Array of Instruments
Freedom Academy of Music Education offers private one-on-one music lessons for bass, drums, guitar, piano, and voice. If you are interested in learning how to record using industry standard software, we offer instruction in audio-engineering and recording as well.

You may have heard the quote “If the music is good, you dance…” I believe if the instruction is good, you learn. My son takes piano lessons. Although we have worked with several different instructors, FAME ranks far above any other music school we have tried. From the moment you step into the building, you sense professionalism. The entrance is beautifully decorated and organized. The state-of-the art equipment, classroom layout, and showcase performances are all arranged with thoughtful attention to detail. Students are greeted warmly when they arrive as the owners have taken the time to learn each student’s name and instrument they play. There is an efficiency to the lessons that I have not seen anywhere else.
