Mitch Kiley

Instructor

Mitch Kiley is a passionate music educator and performer who is dedicated to inspiring others through the transformative power of rhythm and creativity. He originally attended Berklee College of Music from 2007 to 2011, where he maintained a performance scholarship throughout all four years of study, and re-enrolled in 2025 to further expand his craft in professional music and contemporary percussion.

Mitch has built an extensive live performance career that spans national tours, studio sessions, and televised events such as The TODAY Show, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rose Bowl Parade, and NBC’s 11Alive Morning Show. He has also recorded for Grammy-nominated and platinum-selling artist Matt Goldman and Grammy-winning producer Needlz.

Mitch’s teaching philosophy centers on meeting each student where they are, fostering confidence, creativity, and self-expression through personalized, hands-on learning. He is highly experienced in working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and takes an individualized approach that supports focus, coordination, and emotional growth through rhythm and movement. His methods emphasize patience, adaptability, and the joy of discovery in music.

A proud Vic Firth Education Artist, Mitch is endorsed by one of the most respected percussion companies in the world and continues to inspire students of all ages to find their own voice through music.
